Save Khaki United has been sewing Supima and organic cotton in the USA for twenty years, dyeing and finishing in California, without much noise. Think of it as Buck Mason’s quieter, older cousin. Strong on sweats, chinos and washed pattern shirts, with a corduroy trucker that is the best of its kind I found.

Eight pieces, the sizing rule that saves you a return, and how the trucker fits three builds. Checked on the brand’s site on September 21, 2026. This post contains commissionable links. Images were made with AI from the brand’s product photos.

The sizing rule

Good Work jersey tees run small and the brand says so: size up. If you wear a large, buy an XL in the American Jersey tee. Several shirts are labeled “modern fit,” which means trimmer; consider a size up there too. Returns are 30 days and sale is final.

American Jersey SS Pocket Tee

The American Jersey Pocket Tee is 12 single ring-spun cotton from the US Delta, knitted in Los Angeles, $75, in natural, navy, surplus, union blue and white. Slightly shorter sleeves, fitted armholes, higher neckline. A heavier, textured undyed pocket tee. Buy XL.

Wide Wale Corduroy Trucker Jacket

The Wide Wale Corduroy Trucker is 100 percent cotton 8-wale, garment-dyed, pre-shrunk, unlined, $240, in mocha brown, surplus, union blue and black. Same shape as a denim jacket in soft cord that reads coastal. XS through XXL, cut relaxed. The corduroy jacket guide compares it with four others.

Work Shirt in Cotton Hemp

The Work Shirt in Cotton Hemp is 55 percent hemp, 45 percent cotton, 4 oz, pigment-dyed, $180, in tea, petrol, salt, union blue and faded navy. Sun-washed and the lightest open-over-a-tee layer you can buy. The page says relaxed and modern fit; the 6 foot 2 model wears large.

LS Pigment Yarn Dye Shirt

The Pigment Yarn Dye Shirt in Surf Check is 100 percent cotton, garment-dyed, made in the USA, $200, also in breeze check, breeze stripe, surf stripe and tea stripe. Soft checks in surf and breeze blues, meant to layer over a lightweight knit. The 6 foot 2 model wears large.

American Twill Back Terry Crew

The Twill Back Terry Crew is 100 percent cotton, garment-dyed, pre-shrunk, grown, spun and sewn in the USA, $145, in lichen, haze, harvest, russet, union blue and mocha. Raglan sleeve, flatlocked and reversible. No slim language.

Harbor Sweater

The Harbor Sweater in Navy is 100 percent Memphis cotton, garment-washed, made in Massachusetts, $180. Modified boat neck, chunky rib, maritime stripes chest to hem. The most literally coastal knit on my list. The 6 foot 2 model wears medium.

The Weekend Chino

The Weekend Chino is 100 percent cotton twill, pre-shrunk, garment-dyed, made in the USA, $180, in twelve colors including olive and tea. Wide leg, stovepipe straight, 18 inch opening. A no-stretch chino for the same slot as a pair of jeans on beach days.

Pique Polo in Cotton Hemp

The Pique Polo is 70 percent organic cotton, 30 percent hemp, $140, in eight colors, cut relaxed. For the knit-polo shelf.

How the trucker fits three builds

Same jacket, tee and chino on slim, athletic and bigger builds. The trucker sits at the waist on all three, and worn open it adds shoulder on a narrow frame without pulling on a bigger one. Buy your normal size in the jacket; the size-up rule is for the jersey tees.

What to skip

The hemp stripe pieces carry 10 percent recycled poly. The Camp Shirt Jacket has a fleece lining and a “polyfilled” URL slug, so confirm the fill before buying.

Frequently asked questions

Does Save Khaki run small?

The jersey tees do, and the brand says to size up. Shirts labeled modern fit run trim. The trucker jacket, sweats and chinos run true to relaxed.

Is Save Khaki made in the USA?

The pieces above are sewn in the USA with cotton grown and spun domestically, and dyed and finished in California. The Harbor Sweater is made in Massachusetts.

Is Save Khaki similar to Buck Mason?

Same American cotton story and the same neutral palette, with a longer track record and a bigger range of garment-dyed color. The brands like Buck Mason post puts them side by side.
